Concrete repair · Flatwork
Concrete repair where pavement needs it, done with the asphalt scope.
Most commercial properties are a mix: asphalt drives and stalls with concrete approaches, walkways, dumpster pads and valley gutters. Repairing the concrete alongside the asphalt means one contractor, one schedule and transitions that are built together instead of argued over later.
Repair or replace
Isolated cracked or settled panels are removed and replaced on compacted subgrade. Widespread failures across a concrete area usually point to subgrade or drainage problems, and replacing panels without correcting those brings the same cracking back.
Within an asphalt rehabilitation scope, concrete work is prioritized where it affects drainage and traffic: valley gutters, transitions at asphalt joints, approach pads and trip hazards along walkways.
Concrete and asphalt in one scope
Sequencing matters: concrete is typically placed and cured before the adjacent asphalt is paved against it, so the joint line is clean and the grades meet as designed. Clear trade boundaries and coordinated elevations can reduce transition conflicts whether the work is in one contract or several.
Concrete repair can be discussed alongside commercial paving. Confirm included flatwork, joint details, curing requirements and any work assigned to another contractor.
