Mill & overlay · Mill & pave

Worn commercial asphalt may need rehabilitation, not full replacement.

Surface wear and structural failure call for different scopes. Where the underlying pavement remains sound, milling the worn surface, repairing isolated failed areas and placing a new course can preserve much of the existing section. Depth and finished grade need to account for curb reveal, drainage and transitions.

Surface distress

Raveling, oxidation, block cracking: mill and overlay.

Base failure

Alligator cracking, rutting, pumping: full-depth repair first.

Broad failure

Widespread base and drainage loss: price reconstruction.
